A Landmark Legacy Project
This wasn't just another addition to a catalog; it was a landmark moment for a legacy author. Over a career spanning 30 years, Beth Moore has published dozens of studies and reached a global readership of millions. Within that storied history, Walking With God was positioned as her most ambitious project to date.
The Hybrid Production Strategy Because this was likely to be the final major study under the existing publishing structure, the stakes for the "look and feel" were incredibly high. The production required a unique, hybrid approach—a delicate collaboration between the in-house team at Living Proof Ministries and the 100-year-old institution of Tyndale House Publishers.
The Role of Cause Catalyst Cause Catalyst was brought in to serve as the visual "connective tissue" for this 18-month journey. Our role was to provide the specialized creative direction and technical execution that a project of this scale demanded. By aiding the visuals from the very first influencer interview to the final cinematic trailer, we ensured that the story remained cohesive, premium, and true to the weight of a 30-year legacy.
The vision for Walking With God was to create more than a curriculum; it was to build a comprehensive narrative ecosystem that honored 30 years of ministry while pushing into new creative territory. Because this was a hybrid production between Living Proof and Tyndale House, Cause Catalyst served as the visual anchor across three distinct phases of the project.
Phase 1: Capturing the Core Teaching
At the heart of any Beth Moore study is the teaching video the essential companion to the workbook used by thousands. Cause Catalyst aided in the capture of these foundational sessions, ensuring that the high-production standards reflected the weight of the content. We focused on maintaining a visual clarity that allowed the teaching to feel personal, even on a screen or device.
Phase 2: The Interview Series
For the first time in the ministry's history, the study included a series of long-form, conversations between Beth and various cultural and spiritual thought leaders.
The Mission: Capture authentic, unscripted dialogue with figures like CeCe Winans and Makoto Fujimura.
Our role was to produced and directed these sessions, traveling to facilitate environments where high-level talent felt at ease. This wasn't just about lighting and sound; it was about protecting the "space" so that these landmark conversations could happen naturally.
Phase 3: The
Cinematic Promos
The final phase of the Walking With God project was about more than just "making a trailer." It was about creating a visual bridge between the 300-page study book and the digital audience. Cause Catalyst architected a promotional strategy that ensured the "world" of the study felt cohesive, no matter where a reader first encountered it.
The Strategy: Visual Continuity
The physical Walking With God study featured a very specific "naturalist" aesthetic, anchored by the atmospheric photography of Stephen Proctor. To prevent a brand disconnect, our strategy was to move away from a traditional studio setting and take the production into the wild. We planned a specialized five-day shoot in the Pacific Northwest to capture the same mood, lighting, and textures found in the print material. This intentional alignment meant that when a user saw the video on their phone, it felt like a living extension of the book in their hands.
