Client Brief
Attack Poverty needed refreshed content to capture the essence of their mission through video, with a focus on the transformative power of their programs. Our goal was to highlight the impact of their work, from education initiatives to community revitalization efforts, and to demonstrate how the organization is helping to uplift entire communities. The project required us to visually showcase these efforts in a way that resonated with both supporters and those they serve with in compressed direct address.
Headwinds and Challenges
This project presented several challenges. First, we were working under a tight project timeline, requiring us to quickly synthesize a broad scope of work into a unified, concise message. Attack Poverty’s initiatives span a wide range of services—from education programs to community revitalization—so it was crucial to capture the depth of their efforts without losing focus. Additionally, we did not have the opportunity to gather our own footage, relying instead on existing materials to tell their story. This required a strategic approach to ensure the final product remained impactful and cohesive, despite these constraints.
Our Strategy
To overcome these challenges, we focused on creating a unified and impactful message by carefully curating and editing the existing footage provided by Attack Poverty. With the broad scope of their work, our strategy was to highlight key themes—such as education, revitalization, and community empowerment—while ensuring the narrative remained clear and focused. We paired the footage with a compelling voiceover and an uplifting score to tie the diverse elements of their mission together. By concentrating on a concise, emotionally resonant message, we were able to effectively communicate the breadth of Attack Poverty’s efforts within the limited time available.
“Poverty isn’t just about material lack, but a complex web of challenges affecting every aspect of life. Together, we can provide the tools needed to break the cycle, restore hope, and uplift entire communities”
